the op from the parents staying with them had posted an update 3 years ago. she said that her boyfriend apologized and agreed to both therapy and never letting his parents stay with them again ever. he also said he was considering cutting them off and would talk to his therapist about it, and that he also planned to call up his mother and tell her to apologize to op instead. that's the only update they posted so i can only hope that things went well!

15:18 I feel like temp control convos should be a thing. As much as I love warmth of the sun, I hate the inside being hot. You would be surprised at how many get shocked and end up fighting when they realize their partners like a drastically different temp. Some people will die on the temp hill. I’m not sure where you guys live, but here in AZ we are good when it’s less than 75 lol. That being said, absolutely no way my house would ever be warmer than 75

I set my heat in winter on 20f and lower to 72f and if it’s -20f I put it to 75f. My husband and I fight over the heat lol 😂 he wants it at 65f but it’s to cold.
