Pretty certain I've shared this story elsewhere but it is undoubtedly one of my favorite stories ever. Was at a Bowling For Soup show in a small bar in Chattanooga, TN when they played this. EVERY last person in the crowd was singing along and what was interesting to me about that is that the crowd was comprised of representatives of pretty much every sub-culture you can imagine. Punks, goths, preps, jocks, nerds, you name it. I doubt you would have found many Britney Spears fans there but the way everyone was rocking out, you'd think it was a Slipknot concert and that they were trying to reduce the building to rubble. It's just one of those songs that you happen to know the words to, Britney Spears fan or not. That aside, as I've gone through all of F211's covers, I've come to the personal conclusion that you can take any music from the 70s/80s/90s and early 00s, slap on a fresh coat of paint and slightly rearrange this or that and it's still infinitely better than anything that came afterwards. They just really don't make music like they used to.

I'm a bit late for the show so to speak, buuuut I really think a cover of the Bridgit Mendler (acoustic) version of "Top of the World" would suite you guys VERY well, in eeeevery aspect... I guess it seems random and most people wont even know of the song anymore, Bridgit Mendler was active quite some years ago, buuut the vocals would sound aaaawesome, seriously, and the structure and guitar lines in a more rock-like way... huiui *__* your covers are among the best versions of the songs in general, and sometimes its even magical. I LOVE the effort you put into every new cover (and the live streams, gosh I love the live streams...). aaaand "concrete castles" is the logical next step, albums, tours, just new own content oh man!
