Finally! I have managed some free time while the conditions are just magic, a very quick afternoon solo run in my boat delivered one of the most exciting afternoons fishing in a long time. The fishing was hot, the water was calm the sunset was beautiful and if that wasn’t enough I had a huge pod of friendly dolphins stop by the spend some time an show off for the camera 🐬 🎥
Just a beautiful afternoon doing what I love catching a couple of west Australia’s favourite fish was just a bonus 😍🎣👍🏻

Yes I don’t know what it is as it shows as bugger all on my sounder but the two times iv been there it’s been almost instant bag outs haha 😆 will leave it alone for a while though iv actually got another spot I’m dying to go explore pushing my range but on the right day I’m sending it haha!! In the same boat as me now “ no boat “ haha 😂 we will get our shot I’m sure mate. Jurien is known for its monster Dhu fish so I’d certainly be giving the a crack if you get the chance!

Awesome work solo Jack! We tried for some snapper last night but not a touch. Couldn’t keep the squid away from our whiting baits though 🦑. Not a bad bycatch though. Keep up the good work.

Hey mate, I actually sold my boat a couple weeks ago haha 😅 I’ll get another when the times right, but this is a 4.6m tattoo “navigator” boat, with a 50hp Suzuki on the back, I kept it really simple to allow for as much room as possible and it actually felt a lot bigger then it was, perfect fishing machine 🎣🎣✅🤙🏼

That rod is far to heavy for that style of fishing in my opinion, I don’t know if your watched my other videos but next time I’m there doing this I’ll be using my lighter combos for sure! In this one is a 10k size shimano Saragossa with 50lb braid and a old heavy as shimano crank jigging rod. Thanks for watching 😎👍🏻🐟🎥

Mate I have an “ Abrolos tackle retro mcpaddle “ rod an damn I love that thing it really is the perfect alrounder I gave owned for over a year and no dramas what so ever. Check them out cook looking rod as well. It’s the yellow one I use in most vids. Iv used it for inshore snapper, trolling tuna, sambo jigging, flicking soft placcys it does it all, well worth checking one out 👍🏻✅😎
