Oops we did it again !!

unboxing the new NINJA AF500UK .
This is a flexidrawer , meaning you can use 1 or 2 smaller (5.2 litre)drawers or remove the divider and you have a spacious 10.2 litres of cooking space
Ninja always pack well so no damage should occur in transit .
This has the same footprint as the Ninja AF400 . It is the same height too .

I have the Instant pot branded equivalent to this ( Instant Vortex Plus Versazone 8.5L ) a lot cheaper , absolutely love it , I can put a chicken and all the trimmings around it too , or a baking dish . Or put the divider in , and use just one side , or both sides. Different temperatures /times / functions .like this Ninja, it's Brilliant .

Do you put ninja's on with the water in to clean? I've got silicone liners that go in my dishwasher after cooking. I dip draws in hot soapy water, but was wondering could I run it with the draws filled with soapy water?

I have done but only with a little soapy water to create steam .

I've got a 400uk and a 15 in 1 but this is a step to far from ninja. Seems very fiddly with the divider and you can't open 1 drawer without opening both. It's a gimmick for me.

Not a gimmick. It’s giving the option of the two sides but the convenience of a larger space so you can cook larger portions or items.

Is the basket and crisper tray PTFE/PFOA free?

The basket is made of aluminum with a PTFE nonstick coating. The crisper plate has a PTFE-free ceramic nonstick coating. I copy/pasted this directly from their website.

Ninja are now churning out "different" models for the sake of it. I'll stick with the dual and 15 in 1, this one looks way too gimmicky
