My OOSSXX camera system only shows 1 screen on the tv, but all 8 on the mobile app. I can't see 8 views at the same time even when I have 8 screens selected on the TV? Do you know why? Like if I click onto each of the blank screens/panels from the 8 sections, I can see the camera display no problem, but when I just view 8 at once, it only shows 1 camera display, and then the rest of the 7 are just blank "not video input". Doesn't make sense because when I click into them, i can see stuff! Please help out, I'm struggling

In better words, back then I had 8 panel views selected, and all 7 of my cameras that were plugged in showed playback on all of them on the tv. However, now it only shows 4 playbacks only 7 cameras plugged in - and I have 8 panel/section view. What can I do to fix this?

I have a new 4 camera system that was just installed this morning. 3 of the 4 cameras are showing in color, one of them is not. I've compared the color settings and they are all exactly the same. The picture in the B&W camera is not as clear as the others are either. Has anyone else experienced this and if so, what was the fix? TIA

@@twlinks Probably a bad connection or a bad camera. Try checking camera connections if no issues then try swapping cameras to isolate if it's a bad camera or a bad cable. If no luck then try contacting the manufacturer. Best of luck!

Where do you go to record what area is the record button how do you get the cameras to record into the system without using Wi-Fi or Internet And can you use your phone without the internet if you have a smartphone

You go to record schedule to schedule when you want it to record and set it for motion or constant recording etc. The cameras connect wirelessly to the NVR so there is no need for internet for the camera to record. You can't use your phone to connect to the NVR unless the NVR is plugged into your internet.

Thank you for the tutorial. Please could you tell me how to change the password? The first person that installed the system is out of reach now, the logging box pops up saying admin in the user and is empty in the password. The manual book says to press enter, but when I do that the system says "user/password incorrct". How can I change that or force if possible a new user or password????

My video is stuck on pause unless their is movement. I went to make sure that let it’s time based for recording but I can’t get a live feed constantly.

@@MrEngineerReviews sorry lol, just realized on the typos… The feed is like it’s “paused” unless there is movement. I checked the settings and on each feed it says “sleeping” until it catches movement then it’ll change to “connected successfully” but once the movement is stopped it’ll go back to being a still image of the last second of the feed. I went into each cam settings and made sure that time & motion were both selected but it still has this problem.

The system can't connect to your wifi. It needs to be plugged in via an Ethernet cable to be accessible remotely via the internet.

Not with wireless OOSSXX cameras; no. There is an ethernet port on each camera, but only one ethernet port on the NVR. It is meant for programming the cameras, not for video transmission/recording.

I bought a system very much like this and am struggling to set it up (the manual is terrible). My system did not come with a hard drive. Do I need to purchase one to record? Also, do I need to purchase a repeater in order to connect to my house wifi. Any help is appreciated. I'm not exactly an IT professional. LOL.

If there is no hard drive in your system then you need to buy and install a hard drive in order to record. You can plug the system directly into your modem. If you can't plug it into your modem you need an access point or repeater to connect it.

@@miket5057 You are looking for a surveillance hard drive that is designed for constant slow recording. You want one without an enclosure, the one you bought may be in an enclosure. You can either open it and try to see if it's the right size, or buy a different one. I think it's 3.5 in, but I don't recall for sure.

Sorry not sure why that's happening. Make sure your power cord is in all the way, sometimes that can happen when it's loose.
