You got the explanation a little bit right. Oduduwa the creator (Isese Spirituality) is Orisha (Atorunwa) that Olodumare sent to planet earth but she is feminine (not masculine). Oduduwa the king is (Atunwa = incarnation) is male, he only was given the feminine Orisha name because he was revealed would be great (his esentaye) like Oduduwa Atorunwa. Many Yoruba due to their religious affiliations (Islam & Christianity) does not want to acknowledge Yoruba creation story, their bible & qoran Adam and Eve reigns supreme in their subconscious mind even if some of them know that we Africans were here million of years before Arabs and Jews who wrote those books. This Christians and Muslims don't want to say anything against their books. As the world have their creation story, we the Yoruba have ours, better than theirs. Oduduwa Atorunwa (feminine Orisha) played her part in creative acts. Ogun lakaiye detected/chose the planet for human habitation/creation. All the Orisha played their parts in creative acts according to Olodumare specifications.
