TL notes: Localization aside, the article actually refers to the car as an 痛車 (Itasha), which means something along the lines of "painful car." The name is a joke on the fact that some people describe the cars as "painful to look at," as itashas are generally decorated with images of fictional characters, particularly from anime and videogames. Nowadays it's a movement that has quite a considerable following (you can find examples of itashas even on Japan's motorsport scene). Also, in case anyone is interested in the article itself, here's a (fairly liberal) translation: ---------- ~Astonishing Subaru x SUBARU collab! Besides the image of Oozora Subaru holding the SUBARU emblem, the car also contains depictions of her designer and also VTuber Shigure Ui, and male VTuber Maimoto Keisuke (from Nijisanji). If you're a fan of hers, all the thought process that went into the car's design is sure to make you go "Now that's what I'm talking about!". The two distinct illustrations found on each side of the car also add a lot to the overall charm. On the rear windshield, you can find an image of Oozora Subaru wearing the costume displayed on the first Hololive live event "hololive 1st fes. Non-stop Story" that happened back in January 2020. Surely, this was thought out as a way of showing whoever is driving behind the image of Subaru in all her glory. One can't help but admire such diligence. Takayasu's Twitter contains posts detailing the whole stickering process. Comments from people who saw the car include: 'I can feel the love they put into this,' 'Beautiful,' and 'That Maimoto tho lol.' Oozora Subaru herself replied with an 'Amazing ! ! ! ! !'
