Awesome!!!! For the Bonney matchup, you could have tried to swing more into the luffy while minusing the hawkins - if the Luffy gets KOd, then you have potential to pop both hawkins with all your characters rested ;)

heads up that the way to play around basil is have all ur charcaters rested when you target him for the ko. that way he has no targets to rest for his ability and cant use it

You should try out the straw hat build. You get rad beam bad manners kick, brook and zombie luffy are searchable by nami and zombie luffy trashes on attack. I played it last night at locals and it ran smooth

damn that bonney was me and I had so many missplays. I was trying out the deck and had never played against a garp before so had no idea what i was doing lol but i know you like that 5 drop luffy. Put that in there just for black decks lol but ngl after that game i was like shit i gotta try this garp

@@b00mcake that’s a completely different deck for sure. I prefer the black style that the leader gives rather than rush.

@@DeezTCG he does offer really good decosting, but from the garp games I've played, the more I've played I've noticed you can rely more on leader decost and use that to free yourself some deck space for reds. your staples can stay like brook and lucci, you're essentially using garp effect to clear only the board that is putting you in immediate danger. Then rushing the rest of the time. tried every garp build under the sun he's been my main leader for the last year lol, and I do think its a case of do what suits your playstyle, but the best results I've seen in 08 with garp have been from CP heavy ko+rushing.

Basil has to rest a character to get his effect from not being removed. When you swing with all your characters and bring them down into range of Lucci, you can still remove them.

What are your thoughts on dragon. Or experimenting with cards that let you reattach attached don cards like nami, koala, and chaka? Do you think 7c OP08 jack is going to replace anything?

I haven’t found too much use out of reattaching Don cards. They always felt redundant bc I can just attach the Don and get better value out of it. Jack will definitely find a spot in the deck I’m not sure what it’ll look like yet but it could be more animal pirates heavy

@@DeezTCG i raise you this though, finger gun allows for a 5 don 10c takedown and still lets you drop sabo or even a rush card such as kid and killer, and it will only become more and more important as 08 pudding comes out and 09 blackbeard
