Love your videos and definitely enjoy watching the full process, but for stuff like this and your accumulated power fusion cycle video you should consider including a summary of the process either in the description as text or as a link, or even just in the video itself as a still image at some point. Did a cycle fusion, get 4 fusion errors (about 300k yen) and then proceed to fusion Yoshi, got it at 99 strength 99 endure and 90 Luck

For those who may not know, you can actually get spell master from skill cards that treasure demons drop on merciless. The only ones I've gotten were from the Sendai Jail though so I don't know if you can get them elsewhere. It's still a pretty low bet though and Alice is definitely the most reliable way to get Spell Master on your personas.

Me too ! im only medium speed as a player at best and even i got through merciless and all the + bosses and the reaper, you just need to be careful where you position your character so you arent smack middle in a war zone where all the mobs can freely rip you and your team apart. Always make sure most or all of them are brainwashed if youre getting in close when theres too many to keep on screen and you should be ok. I did a lot of almighty spam but alice was good too, one of my favorite personas for sure. people who get stuck in the prologue probably dont know positioning and ailments are key lol, i did not use any difficult tech on my first merciless run and the only fails i had were two, one when i had a stray enemy hit futaba in okinawa (i thought they all died...) and a second on the reaper because the ai kept ignoring the dire shadows and so the reaper not only started sniping me but kept killing them in a matter of seconds as well (if he isnt being attacked i think he just sits in the back of the room but as mentioned ai kept bugging him so this happened). Got him second try though no problem

Tbh, I use Arsene primarily and I'm level 48, almost at the end of the game, the hardest part was the 1st jail. The only thing I can tell you is don't JUST use Joker or you will indeed struggle.

Question: Why have both Endure and Enduring soul? Do those stack?

Activate twice I'm guessing. In a fight Enduring Soul would only activate once, so Endure could still kick in in the same fight if it's really difficult. Since Alice doesn't meed Technical Damage boosters or ailment boosters, and Curse Amp, Boost, Mudo Boost Spell Master and Enduring Soul only take uo 5 spots and it's kinda pointless having other skills, he must have added Endure as a double safeguard coz in Merciless if you die it's a big waste of time. I personally keep Mamudoon in place of that because it covers a MUCH wider area than Die For Me and is excellent at crowd control, but Endure would also be a good bonus to keep

Not required, you get killed within two hits anyway, and they all hit 99 by the end of the first dungeon on merciless. If you really want to grind levels before NG+, metatron request is the way to go

You really don’t need to level them up to 99 because they don’t gain anything after level 75 and that’s easily attainable by the end of the first jail. The only grind that’s worth it is self leveling to 90 so you can pretty much have everything ready to go like learning skills to build op personas with and unlocking Lucifer required level to fuse.

I appreciate this video a lot! During the Kurama Tengu & Mothman fusion, I got really lucky. The fusion messed up and gave me a level 75 Bugs with curse boost and curse amp passed down. I had endure and enduring soul on my Lilith already. Wish it had happened a little sooner in the fusion process but I’m not complaining lol. Thanks again!

The reason I value Enduring Soul so highly is because the only real danger in P5S is random auto-attack damage while in big add fights. Since enemies telegraph their special attacks and there is no downside to swapping persona, you can easily avoid most damage in the game; however, in add fights it's possible to get hit by enemies from behind and that's where Enduring Soul can come in handy.

This is awesome, took me longer to get max personas from your other video (way too long even with the fusion mishaps) but i was able to make a maxed out Alice level 99 just because Alice is one of my personal favorite Personas just because I love the Death Arcana for no real reason. Ok, I watched again and realized you’re building 3 legs to a table and each of those legs specialize in certain traits. The 4th leg, Bugs, is unaltered other than leveling up. Each leg is built separately but your first fusion in each is immediately all-99 stat. You never show the full screen of the founding fuse so I’m guessing at least one is already a maxed out power forwarder. How is that possible? I thought you can only have one accumulated power persona at a time which has to be in your active inventory. If you can store several power fusing personas in inactive inventory for future use, that was not made clear in your video on making 99 stat personas. Can you clarify this point? Thanks.

My fusion build videos only show how to make the persona; because I can't control where a given player's AP is when they decide to use my videos I can't say, "use your AP persona here to make it this persona for this fusion" etc. Also, I made these videos well after I had already made all of the persona and so my starting point -- the persona that had my AP -- is most likely going to be different than everyone else.

Damn it! This is my fourth attempt making this build. I keep failing because of fusion accidents (learned from mistakes, now I save) or money. But this time... I made it to the last step, then he says I should have Lilith... I removed Lilith because I needed more space... I also didn't register that Lilith... so now... I don't have the skill I need. I have to redo all the fusions again till I get Lilith with that skill. If I was a big brain at RPG's like everyone else and somehow knew these fusion recipes like the back of my hand like everyone else, then I wouldn't have this problem! I checked out your max stats persona fusion guide, and I understood it mostly. I'm a bit hung up on how all the personas your fusing are always max stats, do you have like every persona in compendium max stats or something when you pull them out or is there something I missed in the max stat guide. Just to make it clear I have one max stat persona being Arsene.

If Arsene is your one max stat Persona, then he is your current accumulated power carrier (assuming you haven't discarded them at any point). If you want your next fusion to have max stats, Arsene will have to be included at some point in the fusion path to carry the accumulated power over to your final target (ie: if you fuse them into a Jack Frost, that Jack Frost will inherit the max stats, and will cause anything it is subsequently fused into to inherit the max stats as well, etc.).

@@Fabio-ql5yf essentially when you get max stats on a persona that becomes your base for fusing other max stats persona so if you want another max stats persona you fuse the base with max stats with something else to get the result to be max stats. Then the persona you fuse becomes the new base

@@Fabio-ql5yf I'll explain it in cave man. You make arsene and he gets bonus stats. The bonus stats that the personas you used also give arsene a bonus. Now use that arsene to fuse something else it'll get the bonus from arsene and the personas you used to make arsene. They will become your base. Once you get max stats on one persona anytime you fuse that persona they'll have max. Anytime you use that persona to make another. The persona you make will have max. Then thats your new carrier. Just keep that cycle going

The exact mechanics to accumulated power were never discovered by the JP community. What we know is that some amount isn't stored on the Persona gaining bonus stats. This is why, if you do enough fusions with AP persona, it becomes significantly easier to make them later on.

How are you managing to always get max stats per fusion? The accumulated power mechanic is still confusing to me in that regard. I don't want to keep having to do the Jack + Pixie loops, but do I have to?

Just add 20 points each stat for each pixie in the loop, you'll get max stat in just an hour. Farm money in final area thru junk quest part 9. I did all max stats loops in just one day lol. now im doing the merciless run. So far no issues, ailments are life saver

Also when you fuse your jack o lantern to high level personas, you 'll get 99 easily as the base stats of those high level personas are already good

You don’t explain how your first fusion here immediately went to all-99 stats. You didn’t show the full screens for Abaddon or Mot. So I assume you had made either of those a power-forward Persona beforehand so that the fused persona, Trumpeter inherited the accumulated power? You didn’t mention it in the start of the Yoshitsune build, either. Also, you should advise that people should fuse Alice first, because if you instead fuse Yoshitsune, the accumulated power has nowhere to go. Alice, however, has more forward options and you can fuse down to then carry the accumulated power forward again, to eventually fuse Yoshitsune and then immediately after, Mara. And Mara can be fused down to Seth, to possibly carry the accumulated power to others. I’m assuming this based on my review of the fusion chart. Otherwise, you have to redo the power forward loop many times if you want to have multiple all-99 stat personas.

Once you get to the point where the personas you're fusing have max stats (see Rozalin's fusion loop vid) the PP you'll get per fusion will naturally lead to you reaching very high amounts.

Her picture will remain blank until you fuse her. As for Alice herself, there aren't any special quest requirements or anything to actually fuse; you just need to have the necessary Persona.

Is it just me, or my 99 all stats persona keeps getting changed every time I fuse another persona? Like for example something will be 99 and it will be off by 5 on luck or all 99 and one stat Is 50. I am playing on the English release

yeah I noticed that too. it seemed consistent as to which stat was lower on each persona, so i think each persona just has a "bad stat" that tends to be lower. For example, my hua pos were ending up with 50 endurance while other stats were 99. I think you just need even more accumulated power so that even the weak stat hits 99.

This is a great guide, it took me way longer to do because I kept getting fusion accidents :/ literally when I don't want them I get 3 fusion accidents in a row Edit: still trying to do this. I have gotten a total of 17 fusion accidents

From personal experience, you can do 2 fusions in one session in the Velvet room and then Fusion accidents start happening.

I've played the game in both Japanese and English, and speak both fluently; from my perspective, while the English cast does a great job, the Japanese cast does better. But I also think that is to be expected since it's a Japanese game with characters made under the assumption that Japanese VAs will be portraying the characters.

@@InsiniTyGhost you don't need to level all the phantom thieves to 99, if you have good personas you'll be fine at the beginning of merciless and you gain xp much faster in merciless so time-wise it's just smart to go to merciless before everyone is lvl 99

Hi, Rozalin. Could you please tell me how it is that these personas' stats are all maxed out? I know about the fusion loop, but I can't seem to transfer those stats outside of the loop. Also, if a persona has maxed stats, does it matter if they're level 1 or 99?

Once you've made a max stat Persona from the loop it's simply a matter of fusing that Persona into something else. Using my Alice as an example, I use Hua Po in the fusion process to make Alice; Hua Po is in the loop. So you can stop at Hua Po in the loop and use that Hua Po in step 6 of Alice. The end result will be an Alice with max stats. Leveling up a Persona still has merit as that is how Persona learn new skills.

I have a question though, do I need to start the alice loop with a supercharged persona or can I just start with a normal abaddon and Mot (from the registry) ? (I have max stats on many of my personas and the loop is still going)

You just need to make sure the Persona that has your AP is used somewhere in the fusion for Alice so that the AP is passed on to her. Assuming you keep track of which Persona has your AP, after doing the loop and making a max stat Persona, you should never need to do it again.

Alice is level 75 but she doesn't learn her most important passive (Spell Master) until level 90.

I'm confused about how the trumpeter has max stats. I thought you lost accumulated power when you register then pull out the persona so how come if you're pulling out abbadon and mot from the compendium the fusion result has max stats? I was also wondering approximately how much money is required before attempting this build as I only have around 3mil atm

The persona does lose all AP if you register it and then pull it back out since AP on persona isn't transferred to the compendium; however, a small amount does accumulate on the player as well. After you make one max stat persona and then fuse a whole team of them most persona will naturally have max or close to max stats.

How did you get so many persona points? I’m finding it easier to get money than persona points to the point where I’m summoning high level personas and deleting them for points when I run out - not sure if I am missing something.

Hey there Rozalin, I have a question about maxing my Persona's to max 99 in their stats and I wanted to know if it matters if you do the maxing stats first or do you think I should unlock the Persona's skills first? Ok say i'm doing Alice here should I unlock all her skills first or do the maxing stats first because i'm worry if i'll lose her skills that I want on her and say by doing the maxing stats method will it change my skills around or will they be the same skills as I left them? I'm about to start the Merciless difficultly soon so I wanted to be ready with my Persona's just like you did in your playthrough and I don't know how tough Merciless difficultly is but I thought the hard difficultly was kinda easy to me. I will be using your builds in these Persona's since i'm not that good in doing that and also I know it takes time and patience so using your builds will make things easy and fast.

Follow my max stats guide to make a Persona with max stats; I recommend ending the loop with a max stats, or near max stat, Hua Po. Then use that Hua Po in the fusion of Alice (one of the steps calls for a Hua Po). This will result in an Alice with max stats. Once you've done that register the Alice and use her to make the next end-game Persona. Once your next end-game Persona is made register it and then use it to make another one, and so on. As for Merciless itself, it's quite difficult. Many Persona have new weaknesses and resistances, hit much much harder, and it is all around balanced around level 99 characters; and even with max stats expect to take 50-60% of your HP in damage from single hits even in the first Jail.

Ok i'm doing the steps to create Alice so you want me to stop doing that and go do the steps first in maxing my stats correct? I haven't created Alice yet so this spot is where i'm lost because I think you want me to do the maxing stats first so I can have it ready for Alice and use Hua Po for it and that's where i'm at now in the video putting the skills into the Persona's your saying in the video. ​@@FrostyMikeGaming if you don't make a max stat Persona first using the method I showcase, you will just end up wasting a bunch of time and resources; potentially hundreds of hours of grinding. Max stat method takes roughly an hour your first time, and once you've done it you never need to do it again. You can use the Persona from the method to make Alice with max stats; the max stat Alice can then be used to make another Persona with max stats such as Black Frost; that Black Frost can then be used to make another, and so on.

@@FrostyMikeGaming The process in steps to prepare for Merciless is as such: 1) Use the loop method to build up AP (accumulated power) on a single Persona. The result of this will be a Persona with max, or near max, stats. 2) Take that Persona with max stats and use it in the fusion process for your first end-game Persona. In the case of Alice, this is easily done by ending the loop mentioned in (1) on Hua Po. 3) During (2) the AP that was on Hua Po (assuming Alice is your first end-game Persona) will be transferred to Lilith, and then from Lilith to Alice. 4) With Alice made, register your completed Alice to the compendium. 5) Now take that Alice and use it somewhere in the fusion process for your next end-game Persona much like you did with Hua Po. Black Frost is a natural second end-game Persona as the very first step in my Black Frost video calls for Alice. 6) Assuming you went with Black Frost second, Black Frost will now have your AP and should be used in the fusion process for your next end-game Persona much like Hua Po and Alice before it. 7) Continue this process to make all of your end-game Persona. Notes: [1] AP cannot be registered to the compendium. This is why you always incorporate your most recently fused Persona (the one with your AP) into the fusion process for your next Persona. [2] Even though AP can't be registered to the compendium, stats can. This is why you register your end-game Persona after completing it; you are able to fuse it away immediately to make your next max stat Persona, but can later pull it out of the compendium with max stats. [3] AP =/= stats. AP provides stat boosts on fusion, hence why the loop produces a max stat Persona. As you do the loop you build up more AP with each subsequent fusion and more AP will result in more bonus stats being distributed to the fused Persona that receives your accumulated AP.

Do requests to get your hp/sp and def up with bond skills, leave the jail and come back often there's 0 penalty for doing so, exploit weaknesses often, and dodge more, don't always be agressive because not all enemies stagger for long

Make a 99 stat persona (I have a video for this) and then use that to fuse high level persona. This will naturally make you more PP than you could ever need.

Good video, but at no point does it mention where the Persona from the accumulated loop comes into it. Or did I miss this part? What is the point of the accumulated loop if it is not used in building the actual Persona?

I can't give a specific persona from the loop to begin with since that can be different for everyone; some may even have already taken that persona to fuse others. It's up to you to fuse the AP persona into one of the persona used for Alice, or any other persona you're looking to make.

I still do not understand whether (and when) to register the AP-carrying Persona, but from here it is just trial and error. Thanks again for the videos.

@@Sabu8000 You never register the (initial) AP persona. Once the AP persona is made, you use it in a fusion towards and endgame persona. Once you've made that endgame persona, that endgame persona becomes your new AP persona (now that one you can register of course, but don't get rid of it since it has your AP). From there, use that endgame persona that has your AP as the starting point to make your next persona, and so forth.
