Are: REME the Royal Electrical & Mechanical Engineers. I remember them well going back to the 1950’s with their Scammells when no job was impossible! Respect!

Man working 25 hours straight has to be hard I wouldn’t want to do that.

Makes you realise how they keep finding WWII armour stuck in Russian swamps!

For the sake of the video I had to miss a lot of the complications out lol no job is ever simple....every jobs different haha the language barrier with the Belgians and the fact that they had their engineering vehicles blade welded in place with their bow shackles unable to be removed was an issue, that and they had no idea of their tow rope breaking strain was! haha

Average Joe Airsoft, looked a ball breaker for sure. Improvise, adapt & overcome. I only drove Crrav a couple of times mainly Foden. I used to love setting up a W pull with 2 Fodens and 3 snatch blocks for a big job.

Cheers, the hardest part was lifting the heavy tow equipment through knee high snow...

@Average Joe Airsoft. How do you recover soft vehicles such as Landrovers or Pinzgauers without damaging them. Surely the towing eye on a Landrover will be too weak to pull on it with a lot of force?

We have a wheeled recovery truck called an SVR which is the vehicle i was following at the start of this video. There are also many other variant's of recovery vehicles in the british army that we use.

Interesting film, what a pity it was spoiled by the awful music, totally unnecessary🙁
