They are the type of parents who would go to a trial where their boy is being charged for SA and say its the girls fault and that she should have just let him do what he wanted. And then demand and apology for "putting them through this".

Story 2: I feel bad for OP, she had no chance. Her sister could have been a 1 and so she could have been a 10, and if her personality is as she states it is any man could easily fall for her. A positive, caring, sacrificing, nurturing mother figure of a woman is every man's kryptonite so Im not upset that OP's husband fell for her. We can't help who we fall for. What I'm upset about is that he let his feelings develop. He saw the signs and let it grow in his heart. In being married, he took an oath to forsake all others. He should have worked it out of his system and dtayed loyal. He is just a coward.

@@Maninawigif ya point out something in the bible religious people hate thats old testament and jesus died for our sins so we only follow new testament. If they follow the stuff they like and ya point out its old testament and they shouldnt follow that they freak out at ya for being a heathen.
@Maninawig
@Maninawig 7 ай бұрын
@@Kris-wo4pj it depends how and why you point it out. For instance, the idea of an eye for an eye was in the old testament as a way to say "do not seek interest in your vengence" but Jesus nixed that rule with "turn the other cheek" as a way to say "be the bigger person." So if you bring up the old testament, then it kinda shows that you're negating the progress. But not everything from the old testament was updated. For instance (and this one will piss off some religious people) the sins of the father no longer apply since the time of Abraham. So saying stuff like "the child has bad blood" is actually against the Bible. There's also what kind of religious person you talk to. Some theologians love the art of debate and piecing together different scriptures to get a better answer, while some are so blind they believe the Bible states the world went to hell in a handbasket. The later kind is one I don't much like associating with, while the former is the kind that lead to the discovery that the world revolved around the sun. I apply the same logic to atheists where some will protect kids depending if the other party is a priest or a teacher. Crazy is everywhere

1st story: While not admitting to anything about her brother, OP's mother _did_ admit to some serious defamation. I'd turn loose the hounds. Also, with her husband by her side and while recording, it might be a good idea to ask her father's doctor about the timeline and inevitability of outcome of her father's condition - in front of her father, but without her mother and brother present - and then tell her father that this is _his_ last chance to repent, _his_ final opportunity to a come to Jesus moment, and have him come clean. If he refuses, toss an appropriate bible vers in his face insinuating his failure as a parental guardian, a Christian, fellow human being and end it with "God will see you for your sins. Enjoy your death." Walk out, absolved and free to live your life in peace.

So the last story is a mess. I hope her sister moves on while she's blaming her sister for her husband's unrequited feelings and betrayal. Pushing her sister away ain't bringing that man back. Of course he wants nothing to do with the baby. He was only using her to stay close to her sister. Also time apart won't change the fact that the OP has secretly hated her sister their entire lives.

All in all it'd the husband's fault. He was so in love with the sister that he even drunkenly confessed it to op, couldn't answer about the intimate questions, and about keeping low contact with the sister. He was neck deep in the sister's privates. Which not only caused alot of resentment and jealousy, but now a rocky marriage for the sister. Being told that another man has always been in love with you and calling her husband a loser; getting the sister's husband angered and probably heated where he becomes protective. Op is not at fault for her feelings. It's normal to feel what she feels for someone who is dubbed 'perfect' by personality and looks. Her feelings are justified as many of us felt that way to someone in our life (my younger sister) He abandoned his baby so quick with no hesitation and gave up the house in return as he knew he would never be taken back and the fact that he also knew he couldn't keep lying to himself and pretending to love op. He needs therapy badly as his feelings are destroying his marriage, his ex wife, his daughter, and the sisters' relationship.

Story 1: Unless there’s a mistake or misunderstanding of what your abusers wanted, wouldn’t giving him your liver in fact kill you? Who’s the murderer here again? It sounds more like your pretend family are the ones trying to kill you. If not, you aren’t obligated to help either your abusers nor their enablers. In fact, I’d find a way to sue them all or press charges. Or maybe circulate stories about how this so called religious family abuses children as they did.

Story 2 after updates: (I posted this way because the editing here has been wonky and doesn’t always work right so I’m posting as replies to my first post) I hate to bring this up or sound negative but your desire to not have kindness is a little concerning and might mean you will be prone to seek such unsupportive and unloving relationships. You need to work on that. Manage or lower time spent with sister if needed but it’s not very healthy or advisable to cut off people who have your back. Your husband frankly sounds weak and unsure of himself and given your sister never seemed to lead him on it was a one sided infatuation that very well could be caused by a shortage of healthy female relationships in his life before meeting you and perhaps he was ill equipped to navigate finding one. People sometimes sabotage themselves. He may even have similar issues to you, which is an unnatural need or ability to create unhealthy or find unhealthy relationships with women. His waffling indecisive personality makes it harder to be sure what’s driving his self destructive behavior.

I feel bad for op is story 2. I get she is pushing her sister away but it's such a complicated and fucked up situation to be in. It's hard to blame her when someone who you think is perfect and can do no wrong is in this situation, probably a mix of severe guilt and just anger at why it had to be her sister of all people and op probably feels like she can't say anything because of everything her sister has done to help her.

These are not Christians scripture literally has condemned any such acts and even one family murdered an entire country over the acts against their sister. God didn’t condone the slaughter but the moral of the story was He Himself would do the same to anyone who sexual assaulted His people. Incest is spoken against over and over. She grew up in a cult not a religious family. Know the difference of evil claiming to be of God and who Gods people are
