OP Slash Siegfried Build for the Late Game - Full Fusion Guide | Persona 3 Reload

In this video I show how to make an incredibly strong Siegfried build that I am currently using for my own Merciless playthrough of Persona 3 Reload! It's a build that is strong enough to carry you through to the end of the game if you wanted it too!

A couple of notes: (1) I used Resist Dark for this build due to it being easier to obtain (you may already even have it by the time you can fuse Siegfried); however, if you'd like to use Null Dark instead that will required a level 65 Daisoujou. Using the fusion recipe I showcase in the video, you could do Daisoujou (65) x Power = Decarabia and pass down Null Dark to Decarabia and go from there. (2) I know I mentioned it in the video but I'll explain it here again: I didn't add Single-Target Boost or Crit Rate Boost due to how little value they actually add. In my testing, Single-Target Boost was only adding about 5-7% to my damage and not the 15% it adds when used by itself; as for Crit Rate Boost, after whacking the same enemy more times than is healthy with and without it I saw no increase in the average number of times I landed a critical hit. Feel free to add them if you want but I personally don't think they are worth it.

I did a Brave Blade, Bloody Charge, Arms Master, etc build on him. What do you think?

I'm personally not a fan of Bloody Charge; it's the same multiplier as Charge and the increased crit rate doesn't do much when you already have the innate from skills like Brave Blade and Vorpal Blade paired with Apt Pupil and Crit Rate Amp.

For those that want to add single-target boost or something, you could also put charge on a different persona, switch to charge then on the next turn switch back to siegfried since charge still remains even if you switch the persona, so no need to have charge/concentrate on your actual Damage dealer, you can have it on your buffer/debuffer/healer/just some random persona (though obviously, you'll want to have some decent resistances/no weaknesses on that persona as well.Heck, just give it charge, concentrate and 6 null/resist skills :D)

Yeah, the DLC messes with fusion tables due to how the DLC Persona are implemented. I personally avoid buying DLC, especially DLC Persona for a lot of reasons, and so my fusions use the pre-DLC tables.

Appreciate the tip about Vorpal Blade. Every other build I've seen for this guy just sticks with deathbound, but the little bit of extra effort to get him vorpal goes a really long way if you do. This one the first "strong" person I've made in my playthrough and its a game changer. Looking forward to trying some more.

So insanely broken its crazy. Add in crit boost items on mc and youll be hitting in the 1000s with this guy. Been using him since you unlock and ive been 1 shotting basically everything lol

I'm stuck with portable atm, but do your reload builds work pretty closely for that version?

The builds -- the skills chosen for each Persona -- will work but the fusions to make them may not; you will also need to do a lot of skill rerolling since P3P doesn't allow you to choose what passes on during fusions. The one exception to skills working though are any builds using the Kouga and Eiga line of skills as those were added in P3R; P3P only has the Hama and Mudo lines for light and dark.

@@RozalinGaming yeah, i'm pretty salty about the no "skill inheritance control" in the re release. I played the crap out of portable, on psp, finally decided to try out op builds now that its been ported. I don't mind the other issues, because it's still playable at least, but the difficulty and skills are what got me upset. I can't wait to try to make these, i'll use skill cards if rng isn't on my side.

Why vorpal blade is better than deathbound?

Vorpal Blade deals significantly more damage, doesn't have an accuracy penalty, and only has 5% less innate crit. chance; and that 5% less crit. is effectively meaningless given all of the crit. passives. Deathbound: 350 power, 85% hit, 17% crit. Vorpal Blade: 580 power, 100% hit, 13% crit. Outside of DLC and Theurgy, Vorpal Blade is the best AoE Slash skill.

I just use the datamine from aqiu384.github.io/megaten-fusion-tool/p3r/personas to see almost everything you need for fusions. It also has a calculator which can be useful if you are doing everything from scratch but it's not always optimal.

Slash Amp's skill card is a rank 12 card so it won't start dropping until almost the end of the game.
