For anyone who is having an issue with the fusion giving you a Cendrillon instead of Kaiwan, the simplest (And cheapest) workaround is to fuse Seiryu, then fuse Seiryu with King Frost to get to Kaiwan. Everything else will fuse normally.

The funniest thing I messed it up because i allowed skill change on someone which was on like a status move but then I didn’t realise it was changeing vile asult thankfully vile assault became god hand then when I got Chu I allowed resit strike to change and I got poison arrow which was a pirce move so I will happily take iy

I cant get pierce boost and crit rate boost, you know in what block or rank can i get them?

For the Single Target Boost skill card you said block 3 but still having trouble getting it to drop. Is there a specific floor thats a sweet spot?

The higher floors really. It's a rank 7 card so you'll want to Arcana Burst first.

Love your vids - and have recently started playing P3R on my Steam Deck (beat the old PSP one years ago)…. and just wanted your opinion on the DLC Personas, in general, seeming kind of crazy good ? Like, I saw Magatsu Izanagi has heavy dark + fear to All… AND Ghastly Wail (by default), to follow up with 100% Insta Kills , effectively 😅 ? Seems borderline OP ?

@ ahh, gotcha - yeah, game is totally conquerable w/o them.. I just got a package on Steam bundle that had Episode Aigis plus most of the DLC’s packs, iirc. Some of them just struck me as a bit ridiculous, at first glance 😅. Love this Cu Chulainn setup though, and will try fusing it up following your guidance, later today. Am nearing end of September, so he should be great till Siegfried etc

@@AlekTrev006 oh it's nothing to do with whether the game is beatable with or without them, it's that they just aren't very good. Magatsu Izanagi for example only has a 50% base chance to Fear with it's ability, so at a minimum you are spending two turns to possibly kill enemies that can definitely be killed in 1 turn using other skills instead; and Ghastly Wail itself doesn't work on elite+ level enemies.

Baphomet don’t give single-target boost. You probably get the skill from skills card or from other persona

@@Sammy1432YT Zouchouten, Jikokuten, and Flauros all learn it to pass via fusion; I don't remember what tier the skill card is but it's not super uncommon.

@@Sammy1432YT I don't remember all the cards you can get from the antique shop but you can check anytime you have access. And again, I don't remember it's tier (and therefore what blocks it's from) but it's not uncommon; I had a bunch without really even trying to get it.

Any recommendation on which social links to max first? I maxed mage and chariot and honestly I think I'll restart I'm stuck at lovers boss and wish I had maxxed justice and emperor instead lol

i know it's unrelated to the vidya, but does merciless add anything else vompared to hard, other than the increased crit damage?

At a baseline you deal less and take more damage when compared to hard mode; enemy crit. chance and likelihood of applying status ailments is increased whereas your chances are decreased; enemy crits and weakness damage dealt to you is also increased; once you've started Merciless, if you change the difficulty you can't go back without restarting the game; and if you choose to do a NG+ run on Merciless almost nothing carries over -- you are essentially forced to start a near fresh run.

any recommendations for the best floors to grind for the Single-Target Boost card, or does the antique dealer eventually carry it? I've been grinding a while, and got the Multi-Target card, but still no Single-Target.

ST Boost is the same tier as MT Boost so if you're getting MT Boost then you can get ST Boost as well.

Yep. Their implementation of the DLC Persona is bad and they did the same thing with P5R too.
