Great video. Thanks. Mine doesn't have the issues yet but glad to know there is a possible fix. This is well within my realm of feasibility, this sort of repair. My only other idea was to make a larger physical casing with led lit mechanical buttons and solder those up, making it a physically larger robust device.

Nice video showing that applying cleaning liquid from the outside doesn't reach the main components. What are you actually doing on 2:19? Glueing the white sheet again? What purpose has the white sheet if the square parts are already soldered?

Very interesting demo with the cleaner. Such a shame they went with the worst possible keybed design for such an amazing machine. I’m glad you have found a way to save them from themselves!

Doesn't that depend on whether the double trigger is electrical vs mechanical? What he's shown is that dust/grime wouldn't get in either, so it could be that Deoxit is cleaning gunk from around the physical button. No harm meant, just mentioning as I've recently done Deoxit from outside and it worked. The hint is that afterwards, the buttons felt lighter to push.

If so, consider compressed air first, more likely to blow debris out that way.

can someone recommend any glue (brand+type)? if you want to glue instead of soldering

You need to solder it I believe for the electrical contact on the outer plate and to raise the plates slightly so as not to double trigger with the inner ring plate. Glue may cause much more problems as it may act as an insulator.
