Hi, I want to change the screen lighting but leaving the original screen. I will only change the light, but I would like to remove the inverter that makes noise. I think you have replaced the screen but you have left the original one that works with the inverter but you have made a bridge and put a resistor I think of 10. What is not very clear to me is which pin you bridged and if by doing that then I could remove the inverter leaving the original screen. Thanks

Good work. I have one of these that almost got destroyed. How much do you charge to fully restore one of these that has been hit with a hammer and bent by the faders with a broken screen?

My Twister still works fine, i watched the video to learn about if a lower profile enclosure would be possible and it seems like that. I think they had the stage in mind when developing this thing and build it to be not to low beside mixers etc. but for the desk i always wished it would be closer to my regular keyboard.

3:32 is that typical of lcds, having to desolder the connecter right off the pin header? Isn't there usually a connector soldered to the lcd?

Have you run into a problem with it saying the serial number is invalid? No pads or buttons work. Worse, it’s intermittent.

unbelievable!! A little daunting for me, the newb😰. I suppose i am embarking on journey to learn electronics. My djm600 died today. I admit, Ive had it powered on for weeks, and maybe months straight. Never turned it off.. I had a loop of white noise playing all-day-everyday. I woke up and the thing was dead. When i hit power, i hear a slight buzz, but🤷♀. Much love🙏🏻🍻🍻

Thank you very much for sharing this! The previous capacitor did not look damaged at all in my unit, so I tried either way as someone else mentioned the same thing about their unit. I replaced the original 6.3v with a 25v instead of a 35v shown on the video which also works.

IMHO completely disassembling a pot as shown in the video is overkill and often results in creating more issues than you started with. If a pot can’t be fixed with a squirt of contact cleaner into a gap or hole while still in place, just buy a new pot. And always try this first, before you do anything else
