I was thinking of using green black issho cause you can set a cost 5 or less character as active at the end of turn

It's not bad but Bonnie essentially does the same thing by resting a character of your opponents, or potentially their leader too

Going to my first one this Friday, great guide I hope to use this knowledge to get me far in the tournament. I don't have Kid but I might buy a starter deck for 40 at one of my LGS for him or get one off TCG player for 28 and be prepared for next sealed tournament. Do you get to choose your leader after opening or you have to lock in before? Or is it dependent on the store preference?

Yupp so you get to choose the leader after! You create your deck from your packs and leader is from anything either from your packs or your already existing leaders from previous sets and starter decks :) best of luck!

I feel like Zoro should be on the short list for leaders. Supernova tag and +1000 always nice .

Yeah I think Zoro is always a decent pick but this time around you don't have many 2/4 vanillas like prior sets.

Uroge is easily a tier 1 blocker if you are playing Bonney leader though. Great video!

Enel is way too good, got 2 lucy and drawing 2 cards a turn is great lol i have won 2 so far lets see how many more we can get! When you dont pull anything good, no sr or scr you get some fire rares

Perona could be solid. Idk how Perona does into rp law to be fair, but I know it does well into gecko

@@TheAceInYourHole lmao I responded to another comment on my podcast and thought this was for that too 🤣 but no I'd say perona wouldn't be amazing. Not many cards to KO rested characters, and you'd have to dedicate don to swing into 6ks instead of life.

Surprised you said Yamato is top tier. I would think with all the blockers and 2K counters in the set, she wouldn't get as much value. Also is a 4 life leader which feels super bad in pre release format.

It's mostly because you don't have to swing with leader too high. It's just to bait out counter and then use the leader effect to attach two don

Recommends Bonney leader for sealed format and doesnt think he'll get Bartolomeo effect off much during matches.... okay there. Also, starter Luffy and OP01 Red Zoro leader have supernova traits

Bart is limited to your turn isn't he? Bonney is when opp attacks so they wouldn't work off each other.

Bartolomeo is your turn only. So unless you're running some very niche cards that will only be impactful to his ability, then yeah I'd say you went get to use it much

And as far as Zoro, there are less 2/4 vanillas in this set so I don't think it will be as useful. Luffy, you can go for it but it won't be nearly as good as starter kid
