Im trying to build a perona tech that focuses on ryuma's ability. Using leader to rest 4c characters and ryuma KOs them. Use oars to sac him to KO another 4c rested as needed. Hogback and moria to reuse him, etc

I played this build a ton since op06 and it does not hold up at all, unfortunately. It worked best vs rp law but it wasn’t any better than other builds like wano or donquixote vs rp law. The meta *is* slower, but with Lucci taking up a larger share of the meta now than before, it’s almost tougher. You’re playing lucci’s game but they do it better and have an extra life. Even the favored BY is tougher since you have to starve but they play 10c kuzan now and just drop that in lieu of you applying pressure. I bring all this up to just give a nugget of wisdom: unless you’re a top tier player like guan rong, she’s not it. Don’t cope on her too hard. But enjoy her! She’s a blast as long as you don’t take her too seriously

In the bonney game you couldve moriad the tsuru and tap hawkins with leader to take cards from hand.

Turn 2 against Yamato it was 100% better to attack the izo with leader cause they never counter out of that then develop a borso so they can’t just swing 9 banish forcing 3 cards from hand

You can tap it with You Can Be My Samurai and play Ryuma, also another way to desync your cost reduction + ryuma with Moria.

Not to mention, you also get to immediately replace the Hiyori from hand with the additional card draw.
