Love to see this gameplay! Thanks for sharing. Spoilers below! . . . . . . . . . . . . In game 1, around 8:00, the animated thunderstorm attacks, and you assume it will hit the Battlemage at end of turn, putting you to Death's Door. But, an animated Thunderstorm may strike itself! Don't forget about cloud-to-cloud lightning! :) Of course, he had plenty of other ways to put you to death's door, and you didn't even get him to death's door the following turn, so I'm sure it wouldn't have changed the outcome of the game. In game 2, turn 4, around 13:15, probably better to play the Wizard on square 4, for the reason you demonstrated on your following turn, but with the draws, it was pretty tough either way. :)

An animated Thunderstorm or Wildfire damaging themselves is definitely one of the things you need to get your head around on either side if the Enchantress matchup!

At 8:19, wouldn't Leigh's thunderstorm have a 50/50 to hit the battlemage since the thunderstorm itself is a unit atop affected sites?

I really enjoy battlemage allot and I took allot of your deck concept but diverged from it pretty early on in going totally towards the voidwalk aspect. As you say, early pressure on their side is crucial and so I leaned well into the voidwalk creatures and also have veil revenant… and went to 3 hammers and removed the blades. It allows me to essentially move forward in allot of games after turn 4 as I only need 4 mana and utilize a pure efficiency strategy as I can pump my creatures. I diverged pretty significantly after I got to that and my goal is to draw 1 land at the most and go go go

I don't get why at the end when battlemage blink and attack enchantress, he could not block with the apprentice wizard to protect the enchantress?

Because he does Splash damage with his Flaming Sword. He could block, but hits everything on the site.

Im confused by how the Thunderstorm was defeated by the rolling boulder?? Also, can the thunderstorm target a site?? Third, can all auras be placed on a four site intersection??

All auras (unless stated otherwise) exist on a 2x2 grid, since enchantress animated the the thunderstorm it still existed on all 4 sites including 2 that the boulder ran over which hit it, and since it was a creature thanks to enchantress it could attack one of the sites in its 2x2 grid
