We stayed in that caravan park just after Easter. We met some of the lovliest people and had a great few days. Funny story, one of the women we met actually went to the same school as my wife. They both also actually represented the school in the same sport. She is just a few years younger.

Those dryers are extremely efficient. Also the park has an off leash dog park - right at the back on the other side of the 2nd amenities block. There isn't a playground but there is a noodling area which kept the kids busy for ages - my daughter actually found a pretty piece of opal.

One of the best parks we have stayed in and so friendly. Absolutely enjoyed our time there.

We definitely will go back there. The town, the people, the caravan park all made it a great time

looks like a good place to stay if there's events on or your working in the area, hopefully funded by opal mining haha

Stayed there in 2012 in a cabin. My only gripe was the vertical blinds sat out too far from the wall allowing people to see in to the bed.

They were building more cabins when we were there. Seemed to be placed very close together though so we were wondering if they were going to be for miners or similar workers as all the towns seemed to have alot of different workers staying in tourist parks (main roads, water, poer people etc). That would have been annoying for you with the blinds particularly not keeping the light and heat out too
