It's really hard to give a yes or no answer since I don't know what or how you intend on using it. Personally for me the UAD PolyMax is what I lean more towards on a day to day basis. With that being said Opal is a very versatile synth and comes in handy when I need sounds to inspire me. I hope that helps somehow even though I can't answer your question directly because our use cases might be completly different.
