Why does the current on top start from the right and in the bottom from the left?

Hi Ayman. Excellent question, and something that I also wondered when I was a student! In operation, signal voltages are typically both positive and negative, therefore current directions also change accordingly. However, for the purpose of circuit analysis, WE decide what directions to use. If you follow your basic circuit theory rules properly, the final answer will come out the same. Hope that helps. 😁
