Very informative video sir. I have 3 questions. 1. Can one plant buy excess electricity from another neighboring plant under the Open access scheme? 2. What will be the legal requirement for both the companies? (assuming they are different companies) 3. is it possible for a requirement of 500 KW,(less than 1MW) If not can we take permission from the state for an exception? I will be really grateful if you could answer these

A good lecture. I think the few things were left: The captive plant has to use 51% of the electricity generated for its own use. Additional surcharge is paid by the industrial consumer to recover the cost build by the licensee for the Industrial consumer. An open-access consumer can also purchase power from the exchange directly.
