The thing that scares me about ai is the idea of where is the line. When does it become so human that it’s no longer ai? When it starts having feelings, believing it deserves rights, starts feeling scared, confused, love, anger, sadness, when it becomes aware. I mean, stuff like text to image and text to video existed since 2010s but it never really became as realistic until like 2018-19, with the success of ChatGPT steamrolling everyone to boost their research and development. I mean, I myself build many AI models for various media (generally with python notebooks and modules) and in my opinion, I agree that we'll not reach the singularity point anytime soon since we don't have the complete understanding of the concepts of mind, subconscious and anything soul related. But in terms of logical thinking, we are getting quite good at making smarter algorithms. There is nothing to be worried about that much though, as long as we use AI to assist us in work rather than outright replace, because humans are necessary to confirm the legitimacy of the outputs of these algorithms.
