My late father watched this show near-religiously on any family holiday or camping trip, and even as a teenager of the 2000’s, I was practically raised on shows like this and ‘Only Fools & Horses’.

The cornet solo at the start of Ronnie Barker's Open All Hours is from Laughter and Lemons - the original B-side of Charles Penrose's The Laughing Policeman.

That theme was written by one of my ancestors. Joseph Ascher. He used to play music to the french royal family. He died from a sickness that we now describe as depression. I suffer from the same problem, although now we know what it its all about, and these days there are medications available, unlike those days. Yes, the music is called 'Alice where art though'?'

What a horrible era was the old 70’s and 80’s. 90’s was a turning point in everything, including music, movies. A very laughable comedy the open all hours. Stay blessed to everyone in 2022🙏
