It's not weird for the exhaust to make the different noice when you open the flap there is less pressure in the rear muffler, with another way to escape whereas when you close it it's only going out through one tip realistically, totally normal that's also why it's "louder" as there is more pressure going through just the one tip and "quieter going through both, it will be louder in the high end revs with both open

@@rabiebesmar6863 figured it out. most likely the actuator got disconnected at some point in time, and even if it was reconnected it lost connection from the ecu. as far as i know it cant be reversed if that happens.

Hi! I have a M135i 2014 and have a question: does the valve stay open (or closed) once you disconnect the app? I tried to turned the valve always on in my car with the app but i think it returned to stock once i disconnected. Hope someone could help me or give me some thoughts. Thanks!
