You were not getting 23 psi of BOOST, you were getting 9 psi of BOOST. The boost gauge in the app also includes ambient air pressure, which is why it shows 14 psi at idle. At idle the engine should be in vacuum (negative boost) because the turbo is not providing pressure.

For the exhaust flaps No that’s the downside, you have to reopen the app every time and open them again

Yeah engine running, that’s just a problem with the app, it happens sometimes

It takes into account ambient air pressure...it's not the actual BOOST, but a vacuum.

Using BimmerLink, go on the permanent errors tab, and click on delete errors permanently

Well from my experience if it’s a serious problem on your car, the light is gonna keep popping up everytime when you clear it, it’s never gonna disappear so that’s when you realize it’s a real problem and not an aftermarket intake issue

For that type of code you need to tune it, because you can clear it but I’ll come back up everytime to start the car
