I like the fact that you wear suit and tie on your previous videos

As someone who grew up poor, my parents taught me a bar of soap was cheap, so I was always clean and neat. When one has attained a level of expertise in a professional field and is at a higher salary level, I think it adds to their presentation when a man wears an ironed dress shirt and tie. OK, this is just an old lady adding her 2 cents. Can you guys please wear a T-shirt or undershirt! No one wants to see your bear skin under your dress shirt! I digress! Back to healthcare finance next week. 😊😊

I can agree if a company is staffed in a way that can help managers and staff more actively and loudly participate in open enrollment that’s always better -

Could you do a video explaining some legal cases, like the lawsuit over employer plans charging tobacco users higher premiums or the lawsuit involving Blue Cross La and the breast surgery center?

Well, when the employee benefits book is 300 pages of college level legalese, shouldn't be too surprising. If you want the full paperwork, you have to make an ERISA plan documents request. And the average HR department has no idea how to even properly handle such a request. But surprisingly, I got my documents in the mail in a big packet, postmarked right before the 30 day deadline. And probably the only reason for that was because they were worried I would sue them in federal court for the $200/day fine. Anyways, the average American reads at around a 7th grade reading level.

Timely information! I am retired, and I just received my open enrollment package in the mail. In a world filled with misinformation, I look forward to receiving accurate, data supported, heathcare information from a person with high-level credentials such as yourself.

I almost lost my benefits because of active enrollment and have a family of 5 so it would have been a huge error on my part - I was a day late and I am lucky that they kept the enrollment a day after cut off - you are making a value judgement haha but I get it - maybe it shouldn’t be a yearly commitment and be more flexible like other types of insurance

Is there a 'thing' that has been created that can condense the main metrics of your health/financial status and find the best fit you with the plan that fits your lifestyle?

I must be the odd person out but I could give a rat's tail what the CEO has to say. I just don't trust what's coming out of his mouth and consider it lip service. Maybe it's his tone or his condescension. I would certainly not consider him a peer. HR is there to support and represent the company. I also think they do a very poor job at actually explaining anything...here's a link or links and go fend for yourself. The problem I have is taking work too seriously and having to do all that extra reading, without being exactly sure what to read, and all that competing for my attention from work. I feel dumb just even saying that. I actually miss the previous employers were the HR folks (the consultants really) would come in and give a few 1 hr sessions of presentations; at least that was a way of sounding the alarm bells and one knowing something was afoot.
