They're playing for each other. They support one another when they don't get calls, they help set each other up from beyond the arc, they help each other to their feet when they get knocked down, they jump in excitement when they make big shots in prime minutes. Things are really clicking for them this off-season, which I'm glad to see because I wasn't so sure about the chemistry between Lowry and Leonard. But this is a new kind of friendship/relationship, one based on a mutual respect and appreciation for what they put into every game. Makes me wonder, will Kawhi still walk away from all of this even if they fall short of the Finals? He seems to be happy and enjoying himself here, which is easy when you're winning, but I hope he weighs staying in Toronto more heavily than trying to catch the first flight out of here at the end of their year. They've got a great thing going, it'd be a shame if he bails so quickly.
