Hey Matt, I think you were thinking of the caliper pots, maybe get a Apple tag for Chase they make dog collars that will fit the Apple tag my buddy has a dog and he really likes it Works with the find mine on the iPhone. The RS looks great. Wish I could make it down there for the open house. One of these days I hope it goes well. Have a great one.

regarding prewashing, I've been foaming the car while its dry and letting the soap sit as long as possible, then pressure washing it all off. It's amazing how much dirt comes off the paint from that process, even with a pretty mild soap. What's left is largely the road grime. I then foam the car again and start washing like normal. The microfiber looks pretty clean after washing the whole car in this step. I'm very happy with this process, and I'm happy to see others coming around to something similar.

Can you do a comparison between the 997 RS and your new 992 Touring? What does the RS have that the Touring doesn't and vice versa. How different is the driving experience? Steering feel, acceleration (which feels "faster") etc. I know the OG team is busy but just a suggestion. Absolutely love both of them

Just FYI, your example to file an extension to buy you more time with the giveaway car would not work. An extension gives you additional time to file a return, it does not extend the time you have to pay any taxes due. Taxes would still be due in April.

Hi Matt from the UK. Firstly I enjoy the content of your channel very much…. Following this 997.2 refresh is very interesting. However I’ve just watched the G80 I sold the PPN. I take on board all that you say about the M3 but I feel you’ve spoilt yourself…. You appear to enjoy this make over of the 997 far more than collecting your new M3. Perhaps you should look at buying exclusive used cars and modifying them. I do have to mention the Gentleman’s touring GT3 …. Oh sweet lord ….. I’m not jealous….. honestly! Cheers Mike 👍

I know on modern vw/audi's... you need to pressurize the master to 2 bar to get it to flush the whole system (abs, etc) or you can cycle it with software ($$$). I saw in the past video he had it at ~15psi on the pressure bleeder. Not sure if it is the same with Porsche, but food for thought

Looking forward to your comments regarding chemical pre-rinse. I was a non-believer as well, but have been watching Miranda Detailing for awhile (as well as some European detailers, namely Car Cleaning Guru & Forensics), and he swears by it. I finally relented and gave it a try last summer and was shocked by its effectiveness (I use the IK Foam Pro 12 with CarPro MultiX).

That part in the end when you mention you can’t drive really hit me. Sorry to hear that. I was basically raised in a garage and have been obsessed with cars my entire life. I unfortunately had to sell my car two years ago (interlagos blue E92 m3 setup for track) since we were expecting our daughter and decided to put all of our money into buying a house in a nice area. Not being able to do what you love for two years is really difficult. It’s like a piece is missing of some sorts. Hopefully I can afford something fun next year. I hope it works out for you so you can start driving again.

Is the price of the hide-a-hose system going to be comparable to the hose reel you sell? I have the perfect setup in my house (crawlspace on the other side of the garage wall) for a central vac and hide-a-hose. My garage is tight, so space is at a premium. Have you checked out any of the new Milwaukee Air Tip vacuum accessories? They are really nice, but maybe not ideal because of how they are universal for all hose sizes. It would be nice to have something that is dedicated only to the hose you choose (for less bulk)...but I have a couple of them and I think they are worth checking out.

Not sure if this was already considered, but it would be cool to include some sort of bluetooth on/off switch for the vacuum so you can turn off the vacuum without walking back to the unit/wall. Wood workers have tons of videos on this type of thing, and I have the festool bluetooth adapter on my festool vacuum and it doesn't sound that significant, but makes a huge difference for me. Looking forward to seeing the new vacuum stuff though! Just saw it at the end of the video there, and my garage could use a hide-a-hose for sure lol

Milwaukee has a wireless control (intended for dust collection). It just plugs into the outlet and then the vacuum would plug into that. There is a small remote control you can put in your pocket or on your belt.
