robert hunter hes up there no doubt, but to say hes better than Carey, Matthews, or Gary Ablett Junior is laughable.
@bjb5byrne9 жыл бұрын
Maxim Lekov you're laughable, gary ablett jnr hasnt even played a game with sore shoulders, juddy did his entire career so get stuffed idiot
@Simon-nv5zj9 жыл бұрын
bjb5byrne how does that have any relevance? Look at the awards/ premierships hes won , and he still has at least 4-5 years left. Not to mention switching from the best side in the league, to a new, young team and he still picks up 30-40 touches/game. Now whos the idiot?
@bjb5byrne9 жыл бұрын
Maxim Lekov the relevance is, you cannot say its laughable to compare Judd whose awards/premierships equal Ablett's, while Judd throughout his entire career played with strapped shoulders & 2 years with osteitis pubis which forced him to change his entire game style. Ablett Jnr has never been challenged until now, and he refuses to play. Judd switched to Carlton which was basically the same as Gold Coast at that time. Judd didn't gather 30-40 a week but thats probably because he didnt wait for the ball to leak out the back or receive the ball all the time. Judd's 20-25 touches a week proved so much more damaging, he was in and under the packs, and nobody could bring him down..guys were hanging off him. I can accept that Ablett may be on par with Judd for his different game style, but not for 1 second can you say its laughable to compare Judd "up there" with Gary Ablett Jnr, that's nonsense. I suggest you watch a compilation of Judd's highlights throughout his career if my words havnt proven enough.

@seamusb10476 жыл бұрын
Judd obviously told him what questions were off limits - nothing about West Coast off field or trying to damage blokes at the bottom of packs. Love how serious he sounds when he says he's the Visy ambassador because he loves the environment. Try as I might - I can't like Judd. He hides it well for the most part, but you can tell he's a wanker.

At Carlton he’d get the ball kick it or pass it too someone they’d turn it over so he had to get it again. And the same things kept happening,being the best player in game is what Josh Kennedy wasn’t.

@charlesmartella Жыл бұрын
@@jlrob85 no way in the world . Not in a month of Sundays . Come on bro. Matera played when the rules were harder and no way could Judd match him for hard ball gets . Judd may have almost matched Matera for everything else but not hard ball gets.
@jlrob85 Жыл бұрын
@Charles Martella WC Judd wasn’t a hard ball get player at WC. Wasn’t until he went to Carlton he changed his game. True, both had their own set of skills and we are in a win/win here as both were phenomenal. Juddy I felt hurt you more most games not just on grand final day. Matera had the better kick but Judd had the speed (just) and core strength to break away. I also think Judd was the better finisher but Matera the better kick especially from distance
@sshawross12815 жыл бұрын
Cost Carlton a lot of money and draft picks including Josh Kennedy but didn't give them a flag..Great player but probably better at West Coast with their other Champions. Also probably a mediocre captain but still one of the best players I have seen.
@jlrob854 жыл бұрын
He ripped the abductors off his legs in his last season at west coast and had to learn to walk again. Never had the same speed again. West Coast won that trade in the end.

Wasn’t a good captain? Mate he was an inspirational leader, he willed his team over the line in heaps of games, you obviously don’t know what your talking about. He won the AFLPA 2011 best captains award so his peers would disagree. And you clearly don’t know what happened to Judd’s groins in 2007, took his speed away.
