For the closed tank with DP transmitter and dry impulse example, if there's no pressure contribution at the low port side of the differential pressure transmitter, then why don't u leave it opened to air, just like how it's done in the open tank measurement

Hello James Thanks for asking this question. In closed tank level measurement, we need to consider height of dry impulse line, when we do LRV calculation of dpt. Therefore, we can't leave it opened to air

Here HP tapping point is below the tank.So,why didn’t add the H1 value in 0% calculation.Why did to put the 0 value.Then why didn’t you add the H1+H2 value in 100% calculation of Hp side.please explain

Thanks for asking this question. In this example, bubble pipe is connected to HP Side Of transmitter, and it apply constant pressure to high side. So, this is a reason height of transmitter does not affect level measurement in this case. I hope you got ur answer
