@@MechMemo AI isn't "evolving", the way we build neural network architectures evolves. This is exactly my problem, because people tend to anthropomorphise AI as if it's an entity that can do things. And in reality it's more of a Rube Goldberg LEGO set, where you have to adjust every brick thousands of times for it to do just the right thing. As soon as the training has stopped, it stops evolving. The set is built. It's just passing data though itself, it's all it does.

The problem with this error is that people are so entranced by the fact that this AI robot could put on this little show that they forget to analyze the results for their correctness.
