How well I remember DJing in those days. It was such heady stuff. Hundreds of beautiful sweaty men in the palm of your hand. The waft of amyl nitrate as it came into the DJ booth and the queen screaming, "Mary...she's mixing!". A quick hail mary for the perfect blend and off we went to the next song. They used to literally scream for the mix. Alex Gutierrezz was such an artist. I remember hearing him spin for the first time. Us DJs in those days had a word to describe the best......FLAWLESS!
