Funny that I am the complete opposite. I hated 2022-23 Trilogy with a passion and absolutely love 2023-24 Trilogy. It’s a fun rip in my opinion. Sure price point for any new hobby boxes especially 23/24 products suck. But this products has a lot of cool inserts.

yes, a deck products have been getting worse, why because stuff gets more expensive and then they take stuff out when they realize that on the secondary market stuff doesn’t sell for even what it costs upper deck to make the cards themselves, if you guys want education go listen to something like the Hockey Cards Gongshow podcast and learn some shit. the downside to this, as I have found out is that even though I’ve been collecting for like 30 something years, the more I’ve learned about the reality of the hobby the more depressing it is actually become, and it brings me back to the point of just saying collect for fun and collect what you want go into boxes of cards for the potential to pull good stuff. Even back in the day when the guaranteed autograph it’s not like they were saying cool you’ll hit the best auto in the whole product. That was always lottery ticket thing. It is still definitely just that. But yes, it does suck when you’re paying $200 a box and you’re not guaranteed at least an autograph, like everybody says the breakers, yes are keeping the hobby alive but at what cost to the regular collectors.

It's sad to see how the product has gone. Last time I collected was in 2016 and their were some great products feom UD and Panini. I did think they were over printing some stuff and it was driving down the price of Quad Jersey cards but now the product is full of endlessly numbered parallels, jersey cards are a joke now, I've seen 10 quad jersey cards pulled, all the exact same color, come on UD, atleast try. There's sooooooo many parallels in every product now, it's insane, and they are all worthless unless it's Bedard.
