I just started getting into Pokemon again (about 2 weeks ago) and this channel has been extremely helpful. I really didn't know how much has changed until I started watching openings. I was so lost in how cards were defined when it came to rarity and how they could be played. I've opened 3 packs so far and pulled holo Moltres, ultra rare Marnie's Pride, gallery art Alcremie and ultra rare gallery Acerola's Premonition (i'm going based on what the book says as far as rarity). The Alcremie and Marnie's Pride were pulled from the same booster pack! My goal card has been to pull my first secret no matter the set

Hey Bou about the VSTAR marker cards: they are randomly seeded into the packs and don't mean anything in terms of what you are going to pull from the pack. It's just a way for Pokémon to help people get a VSTAR marker if they don't want to buy an ETB for example.

I really like the yellow border. But that might be because of nostalgia. However, after I played pokemon until Team Rocket and then went to Magic: The Gathering. Specifically, 7th Edition. I bring that up because I really love white borders. I like to white border up my cards now using Dragonshield Classic White sleeves for all my Pokémon rares. It looks really nice in binders with black pages.
