It could be that your house is very cold or the air is kinda moist, my friends house was super old so a lot of his cards were wrapped. You can actually place the card under a book or any heavy flat object for a while, and it'll warp back to normal without damage.

Fighting not only represents the namesake, but also Rock and Ground. As Poison is typically represented with Darkness in the games, Fighting makes sense for a Weakness

I’m kinda getting frustrated and confused. I thought 151 was the new set and I haven’t seen it yet and same with obsidian flame or whatever it’s called. I feel like you get cards like 6 months ahead of time or something.

This is a Japanese set that he bought on the internet, which anyone can do. They take 3-6 months between Japanese release and the rest of the world. We’ll get these cards in Paradox Rift in November.
