Okay, I LOVE that dress. I think it looks stunning on you. It's giving Blair Waldorf, and I am here for it. I think the shorts were pretty cute too, and I bet they'd look good with that top, but I can definitely understand how something can look cute to someone but still make you feel uncomfy. 💜💜💜

If you are so convinced that the shorts have a winter vibe and you aren't thrilled with them styled as just shorts, I'd recommend wearing them with tights and a turtle neck, perhaps a beret (sticking with the monochrome pallet). I think it would work quite well :) You could even use the brooch accessory on said beret, turtleneck or a matching handbag since it matches the shorts too.

Love Ank Rouge. The bunny jacket is so cute! The dress looks very good on you^^ But I definitely agree on the polyester. I think 90% of my jfash clothes are polyester. I value my cotton pieces so much 💕

re: the black and white dress and where the waist is -- my waist actually, naturally, sits pretty high (long, long hips). So that dress looks as if it actually would fit me really well! But I am 4'11", and as I've discovered on my ~fashion journey~ I have a more SE Asian torso than I should for a Western woman. Long hips, though, and stumpy little legs. :D

I have cuddle-licious thighs too and I never wear shorts in summer like normal people. I wear them in fall and wear tights with ankle boots, like the crazy curvy lady that I am.

I also liked the dress when you initially had it on. It's giving OG Wednesday Adams grew up and got a librarian gig, which is a cute and good look. But i also agree that it's not ✨your✨ look. That's sorta how I felt about most pieces. Like I could see it looking lovely on someone, but just didn't mesh with your typical vibe. I see the vision in those shorts too! Just not a good fit. It makes me want to sew a better version of them though because I love the idea of them. Kinda more misses than hits for this bag. Love the bunny jacket though.

I get fukuburkuro every year but i used to wear lolita and was really into that fashion. Also, went through my serious gyaru phase. Now I only get a pokemon one (if the pokemon center picks me...) and the listen flavor one which is an entirely different clothing vibe. I've never been disappointed but most their clothes are black. I'm an L in most things so more than half of the lucky bags are just not for me because only tops and dresses fit lol anything from the waist down is not happening.

The dress was very cute, but felt a bit too youthful for your current style. Also I have a similar problem to you with the waistbands of dress sitting too high- it happens to me in Australian brands too 😢

I live in Japan and have never heard of Ank Rouge. Then I looked them up and they don't have any stores in the north of the country. Ha. I've bought Listen Flavor, Scholar and Rivet & Surge (which sadly closed down) lucky bags before.
