I think you would have a lot of fun looking through it! I only have my stuff in a box for a couple months and get surprised what’s in there 😂

Pyro archaeology with Silver Stag. Loved seeing those Macao pieces. Back in the '60's and '70's, Chinese fireworks meant stuff made in Macao or Taiwan/Formosa - with the odd Hong Kong item. Nothing really came out of the PRC. In the days before gambling, Macao's principal sources of colonial income was, in order, fireworks, smuggling, and postage stamps for collectors. Now aside from some small scale craft professional fireworks companies, the fireworks industry in Macao is gone - though I believe an old factory complex has been preserved as a heritage site. Fun fact, back in the early '60's we would often unroll dud firecrackers to get at the gunpowder to light. The cracker body itself was often old Chinese language newspapers.

Wow! That is really cool information! Thanks for passing that on! I had to screenshot it so I could read it a few times to try and lock it in my memory 😂👊🏽

News Transmitters were the first multi shot cake from China in the UK back in the 1980's, they eject silver whistles, we had quite a lot of Horse Brand fireworks back then, interesting to see a Po Sing item too, i often saw these advertised in shops over here but never actually managed to get anything by them.

I had no idea! That is pretty cool!! I will probably light the newer transmitter, but not the po sing.

If the firework was made in Macao(Portugal)sometimes the label says NOT made in China 😉

Cool video bud! The Tarantula pack is a fantasy pack, someone made the label themselves and printed it out and glued it on another pack.

Tau is an acronym for turns and underhooks. It is a measure of labor involved to braid the strings 😊
