My friends just opened up Boklee Bites, Koh Samui's newest little restaurant in Bangrak Beach town, and it's only delicious....but there's one sandwich that is addictive. Love the video Chris, would love to see more like this. I once had a coffee empire in American, would love to do the same in Thailand. But the rules and regulations can be daunting being a foreigner! I love a bulgogi sandwich with a soup dish or a short rib kalbi with japchae noodles dish or rice and kimchi. Good combo for a lunch or dinner combo. Love that ambiance in that restaurant. Gorgeous 😍

I ate Korean sandwiches Ham and Cheese and egg salad at Chippy’s in Bangwa Thailand Delicious plus they have Japanese SW’s with real Japanese Shokupan bread and Japanese mayo YUMMY You can order on grab and all other delivery services 😊

Chris you forgot the most important part. No mention of having to have a Thai citizen own half the business? Or monthly payment to a local mafia type organization like in pattaya. I have seen many interviews on other channels that mention these things. I hope they found a trustworthy business partner.

It is definitely a challenge to open a business, in Thailand or anywhere! Property values (incl. rent) are inflated and costs for quality restaurant appliances are also high! It would be interesting to hear how much was invested into opening this business!

I am almost positive they have to have a Thai citizen that owns %51 of business. Lot of bad stories about guys investing money in bars to own a business then get kicked out.

Same here in Northern Virginia. We’ll see a sign go up that something is coming and it’s months later before it actually opens. Doesn’t matter if it’s a remodel or a new building. Unfortunately, I doubt there’s anyone helping those small business owners get started though. Currently, waiting for a new vegetarian Vietnamese restaurant to open.

Simple question. if they are retired then why would one want to work? If it is their passion why not just keep making them for friends.... Or has this got something more to do with that old sneaky character called greed and that when most humans retire they simply don't know what to do.... And usually resort to the old habits....
