Gyarados has forever and will forever be my favorite Pokémon off all time. The description on the bottom of the vintage card is just truly the best! I absolutely LOVE that card and collect every Gary I can!

It's difficult to choose just one favorite holographic card, but I have to go with Chansey. I feel like the artwork suits character and nature of the Pokémon the best. It has a cute little smile, hands held together ready to help and also is just so pure, sweet and charmingly innocent! I would LOVE to add it to my collection 🥺❤️

Man this pack opening really brought back a lot of childhood memories. All the art feels so nostalgic. My favorite is the Gyarados! The holo really hits on that one and its one of the ones I never got to see growing up!

My favorite holo is Hitmonchan (edit: if its not in video i love chansey and clefable for same reason! haha) because I love the evolution line and I enjoy this mon in a way that makes it exciting for me. I cross reference loads of pokemon and it makes me happy.

For Christmas, my son received the Scarlett/Violet set and wanted to know more about the different sets and cards. Let him watch your every set pack opening video and he fell in love with Pokémon and your channel. He wanted to win something but a lot of those videos were well beyond the giveaway and promised him I would do one if it was within a few days of video release. So, promised kept. He loves the Mewtwo card because it reminds him of his mother’s set when she was a kid that he looks through every day. As a dad, thank you for making your channel family friendly. Not a whole lot I trust my 7 year old to watch on KZbin, but yours is the exception. Thanks!

Heckuva throwback, Pokemon was a huge part of my childhood and had binders full of cards that were unceremoniously recycled by my parents while I was in college (including a Pikachu collection with some very rare Japanese releases and misprints). I had a holographic ancient mew and promo Mewtwo from the release of The First Movie, but of the ones pulled today, Zapdos, was my favorite and one of my childhood favorites as well.

Without a doubt the best holo pull was the Zapdos. Always wanted to get that one as a kid, the dark background and contrasting bolts of lightning around that first gen Zapdos art is just so striking, makes it look really powerful like a legendary bird should be.
