I dont think you will read this because the video is 3 years old but goddamn you did some great work. You saved my black openings against non e3 players. Best video on this variation !

nakamura's game was the best... that guy is just savage when it comes to making advantages in bullet and 5 min blitz.

Hey, Jim! Could you please cover the scotch game? No one on KZbin has done a FULL opening guide to it.... Thanks
@JimsChessChannel8 жыл бұрын
I cover the Scotch game in Opening Basics #25 and #26: kzbin.info/www/bejne/jpuohmyJrL-mpqM It's not what I would call a FULL guide, but it should get you started, just like my other videos in this series. I also cover related lines like the Scotch gambit in Opening Basics #24 and the Scotch Four Knights in Opening Basics #27.

So what I’m gathering is that I shouldn’t play the Dutch defense...? The examples you’re showing is how the dutch loses LOL. Nice content though.

Only the first game is a loss! The other games are two wins and a draw for black.

After playing the Dutch a few games, it will take some time to get use to. It's an all or nothing opening. I enjoy that it's very unfamiliar to many. It's my belief that with study, it will be a great response to anti e4 openings.

man, you mix up the black and white side so much its actually a bit annoying
