Arjun quickly becomes world no 2 by beating everyone else. But Magnus shows no matter who is world no 2, the gap between world no1 and 2 is a few light years as always. Magnus just obliterated Arjun to oblivion here. When the gap between the best and second best player in the world is this huge, the role of other players in a competition basically becomes just to fill in the numbers.
