Oh yes! Gotta love the corny sci-fi film Hardware! That was during the time when Bob and Harvey Weinstein (who executive produced the film), started to experience financial problems with Miramax and their failing genre division Millimeter Films. Fortunately, Millimeter changed name to influential genre company Dimension Films in 1992, and a year later, Disney purchased Miramax and their genre division for $60 million.
