it is like a deer petting zoo. here in PA we might see this many deer total from archery through flintlock seasons. and none of them stand out in a field in daytime after the second day of rifle season. you have it made
@FirewoodMidwest18 күн бұрын
@ if I have it made it’s due to hard work. Every spring I spend a 100 plus hours working on this place to make it better deer habitat. From cutting out honeysuckle, hinge cutting trees to planting native grasses. Then I stay out. The only time anyone is out here they are in a tractor working the fields or mowing. As little pressure as possible on the deer is the key. Doesn’t matter what state you live in. Appreciate ya watching and commenting!👍🏻

@@FirewoodMidwest You apparently do not enjoy the trespassing tradition that we have in PA. The better the hunting sanctuary you create through your own hard work here in Pennsylvania, the more trespassers you attract. Last month during the first week of our two-week rifle season, I was sitting up on the top of a mountain, overlooking a large private property we own, which is surrounded by millions of acres of public land. Out of the blue and a long long way from a state forest trail head that itself takes a lot of work to drive to, four young boisterous guys showed up. While I am sitting there, looking out over a property I own and manage for wildlife, these four guys begin discussing amongst themselves how they are going to push it off. When I asked if I had ever granted them access to our private property, they aggressively cursed me out. Eff you, eff this, eff that. I was shocked that young hunters could behave this way towards private land and towards an elder property owner. But this is the state of PA, where the harder you work to create a nice honey hole for yourself, the more outsiders are drawn to it, to steal from your hard work. It is infuriating. So go ahead and enjoy what you have created there. We envy you.

@@FirewoodMidwest did you see my response to you about the trespassing we experience here in PA?
@FirewoodMidwest17 күн бұрын
@ no I did not. We don’t really have much of a problem here on this property. Most hunters are the landowners themselves.
