If,they can just ride around and spot bar to turn the dogs loose on, they have a big population of bears. If it is similar to deer hunting with hounds here in NC. More of them get away than get shot. We need deer season in NC. , because if we didn't thin the population;they would become overpopulated, and disease would set in,wiping out most of the herd; I've seen it happen here before. The reason for this is because there's nottttt enough natural predators.

A friend of mine was bear hunting near Chicoutimi Quebec. When he arose in the morning and exited his tent he slipped in some sort of frozen urine, landing on a tree root, injuring his lumbar spine in a manner that compressed his spinal cord, which caused temporary paralysis. He was forced to lay in the cold urine until his wife woke up, saw his predicament and took the opportunity to put the boots to him for alleged speeding offenses two years earlier. Fortunately, her kicks knocked his disk back into place and he was able to get up and hobble away. Later in the day, still angry from the boot fucking that occurred earlier, he ordered his wife to get him another beer, which she quickly did. It is my scientific opinion that this urine was, in fact, bear urine. As you may have guessed buddy is no longer married to his abusive wife. Instead, he is now a leading researcher in the animal urine industry.

I too am from WV and would love to go on a bear hunt in state or elsewhere. I did get my PA license as well. I hear bear 🐻 meat 🥩 taste fantastic when prepared correctly. That’s some awesome action with the hounds. Pretty much coon hunting on a bunch of steroids. Plus they taste better and can make a bigger rug lol ... Beautiful animals in God’s country. 🙏🏻🇺🇸
