These are the best video,s i have seen in ages on youtube,real action and from a group of lads that enjoy their sport,long may it last,i am only a new subscriber to the Untamed,but i am only catching up on whos who on the names of the hunters,i love listening to the hounds when they are riding up top of the pickup truck when they pick up a scent of a bear,or better still when they are released and then in full cry as they catch up with their prey,thats where the hunt begins,i live here in Ireland,thousands of miles away from west virginia,we dont have bear cougars wild boar or turkeys,so its great to see videos of other hunters hunting animals we can only dream about,what we do have is deer fox and hare,deer has a season on them and we are only allowed to shoot them with a deer licence and rifle calibre 243 and above,fox are classed as vermin so your allowed to shoot them all year,as is the hare,but most hunters here give them ;fox and hare] a break from April to september to let them breed and rear their young,at the moment here in Ireland ,the ANTI squad are trying to outlaw hunting with dogs,fox hunting with hounds,something similar to the hounds you have,[english foxhounds]shooting with spanials pointers and setters and lurcher and terrier work,so if they get their way our hunting will be doomed,hopefully this will never happen,i read up on the different hounds to all keep,i think Josh said he keeps ploot hounds,as i seen one in a video of him facing off a bear as it was trying to make its escape from a cave,it seemed a very game dog,i noticed in some videos that women and children are also involved in the sport of bear hunting which is great to see,like a family day out for husband wife and kids,so i will finish by saying keep up the brilliant videos lads and long may it last.....Tom

These guys call the dogs off the bear when they enter a whole and treat it as humane as possible, and at least 15 already have a ban on hunting bear with dogs and it will probably eventually be ban in every state regardless.

@@huntingsupporter182 I bear hunt with hounds myself, raise and train them. Making shit loads of public videos just draws attention to it from the anti community. Most people dont hunt, If you showed a bunch of guys running a bear with dogs they would be horrified and support stopping it. If there was no social media we would probably go and hunt unnoticed for years and decades to come. Sure it's cool now getting a bunch of views, comments, and selling a few hoodies off a youtube video but you are all gonna be kicking yourself when it gets banned all over and you got 30k worth of useless dogs .

I assure you that bear is not helpless. Not near as helpless as the deer fawns it kills and eats every spring. People need to realize bears, cats, coyotes and wolves are predators and are not the furry and cuddly little animals you would like to portray them as and hunting them is part of the management strategy to keep their populations in check.
