Man that was awesome. The sit down at the end taking a moment to enjoy it, reminds me of my first turkey with my brother Josh. He put me on my first bird. Called it in on the 3rd sit of the morning. First time I heard a spit and drum. Watched that bird dance and put on an absolute show for 15 minutes until he got where I could put a shot on him. It was the most amazing experience. I’ll never forget it. The time right afterwards when we talked it over and enjoyed it was even more special. Life Is Good Boys.

Excellent hunt! Ole Squirrel was hammered up! I really hope you guys are noticing all the hardwood and marketable pine damage around you from the high intensity aerial firing. I keep seeing it on multiple videos and especially on very important mature hardwoods. I am a huge proponent of prescribed firing and use it often as a land manager as well but what we are seeing here on our national forest and on your video's in national forests sure shows more negative than positive firing effects. Keep up the great work!

I never turkey hunted my dad and family just never did, just deer. Well this will be my 3rd season. I got crushed my first two. I'm in the mountains of western North Carolina, and it's been a heck of a learning curve. I hope to finally get one this year.....

Man that was great, i love how Squirrel didn't wanna give up his gun...lol Great hunt, its even more special to me because i live in Miami and hunt the same areas and terrain that yall do. Don't get me wrong, i love to turkey hunt anywhere and everywhere, but something about these south florida swamps that gets me giddy every time i step foot in them woods. I haven't been lucky enough to bag me a s fl gobbler this year, but i'll be back at it me this coming monday. I'll be honest, i kinda miss seeing Chubs sneaking them snacks in on the walk out...lol Keep them south florida videos coming, i can totally relate man!!!!

My brother said the same thing when he watched it. I think he was kicking or tripping over the downed bird, he took off down the road after the shot. If Squirrel was half as good at a video camera as he is at tossing those heavy weights around you’d been able to see it. 😂

In my experience, success rates are high if you got a gobbler coming to you and you start yanking on the “palm frond”. Make sure you give away your position and let that turkey know you ain’t no turkey. Like in the movie Cool Hand Luke. When the chain gang would go to pee on the road side they would get in the bushes and say to the boss “I’m shaking that tree boss, I’m still here boss, I’m shaking that tree boss!” Come on squirrel, have those steroids and cigarettes gone to your brain? You know better than that. Big Dave almost missed his chance at his first Tom in his life cause you had a choke hold on the dang gun. I’d leave squirrel in the tree back home next time. Take a fox or a coon next time. Let squirrel be squirrel.
