14:20 is so true. The majority of hunting is the excitement of waking up early, battling the weather, waiting and being quiet, spotting one, then ultimately hoping it gets broad side for the hit.

As a chef by trade I did appreciate the duck and the sauce to accompany it. I would recommend starting a cold pan and rendering the fat out first. The duck will release fat and cook in it. It will still be rare and skin crispy but a lot of the fat will be released so will not be as jammy in texture.

Its ok though it is a right of passage EVERY hunter experiences. Ground shrinkage is what we call it, when you walk up to it and now that its on the ground you realize you just shot a baby.

I agree but also understand that the smaller shows need to advertise in order to keep the show going. Firstly it’s on Netflix so there’s no advertising and secondly it’s a well established show. As much as I hate ads I understand why other shows/channels have to do it.

100% respect for Steve and the production team. Love the discussion on land management. 10% respect for Joe. 10 for his ability to ask introspective questions, 0 for his lack of integrity. This is evident by him taking a 4 pt (~5 or less hours after first light) on someone else’s land, whose aim was to take out doe.

A "grinner" I know what a grinner is. It's a possum because they always smile at you right before you run them over, my friend Burton Chainsaw Mills told me that I thought that he had made that up. he lived in that area. I live in Wisconsin too. It's one of the most beautiful areas ever. Joe Rogan and you guys, that's quite a match. This really is becoming one of my favorite videos about hunting good job, Steve.
