As a chef by trade I did appreciate the duck and the sauce to accompany it. I would recommend starting a cold pan and rendering the fat out first. The duck will release fat and cook in it. It will still be rare and skin crispy but a lot of the fat will be released so will not be as jammy in texture.

There natural grain eaters no gaminess. Most people who've tried duck that say they don't like it tried a diver duck they eat fish, crayfish etc and have a very strong gamey taste. Being a fan of Joe Rogan for a long time I feel it would be more of an honor to hunt with Steven Rinella. Meeting Joe would be an honor too but it's usually a short encounter, hunting with Steve would be a lifetime memory.
