Hello there. As a result of watching your recent posts I have very recently installed Vassal, and this is one of the games I have downloaded (my table is too small to support 2+ game maps - I also downloaded Waterloo 1962 = my very first boardgame from my early teens (pure nostalgia). A question on Stalingrad 42. Your first combat was DR2, but surely there could have been a Determined Defence, because my reading of 11.1.2 is that Det Def can be used by Soviet units in game turns 1-8 which have received a favourable fortification CRT shift.

Forget I posted Det Defence - I've just seen that you corrected it. My bad - next time I'll make notes and wait until the end before I comment :)

Great to see! I think it's a great game to play on vassal. I recommend getting acquainted with the keyboard shortcuts. To summarise a few off the top of my head: Ctrl-D deletes markers [particularly helpful for removing Disrupted markers] Ctrl-R removes a marker to a display [for rail markers for example] Down/Up arrow moves a selected unit to the bottom/top of a stack. Left/right arrow moves a selected unit one space down/up in a stack. Ctrl-M shows a unit's movement path. Handy when you make an error and need to return it.
