I haven't bought any Pokemon cards since I was probably 9, when they first came out way back. I was in a Barnes and Noble last week and saw a lone red ETB. I snagged it and opened it as soon as I got home, I was nowhere near as lucky as you with my pull but your comment about newbies in the community not feeling bad about pulls def cheered me up. You're the first KZbinr I found when doing some more research after my purchase and your energy and love for the game (Instantly subscribed) has definitely made me think about getting into it again! Can’t wait to see how you organize your cards, I’m ocd as hell and a procrastinator. So I just have stacks of cards everywhere until I finally have time to sit down and put them all away but boi do I love doing it. I actually use the etbs to hold most of my collection and then binders for the main set.

OCD And card sorting is a blessing but also a curse😅TAKES HOURS HELP

Yes!! You tried the sleeves!! 😄😄 I do agree that they will wear out more quickly than regular sleeves. But, this is definitely a step up.

I personally don't like the frosted matte fronts of the sleeves. I'd rather 100% transparent so that the cards within them aren't visually faded. Welcome back, Bou!

I somehow managed to find you first when looking for Pokemon TCG videos and it’s been educational and so wholesome. When I got into other content creators the business and investment aspects of Pokemon got way too much for me. The old ETB sleeves r perfect for side loading binders. They fit perfectly cuz they're slightly bigger then the standard sleeve, and the nonslick surface helps prevent the card from sliding out.

@frosted caribou i write down every card as they are pulled, keep the packs, keep the plastic if i can, and by dex # usually but i found that an elite trainer box holds two sets of sleeves, one set of energycards and one booster box. I organized this set by set # and am not disappointed

Hi Frosted Caribou! Definitely feeling the blue box even more, but the red is still pretty cool. Nice pulls out of these too, and your explanations on these cards helped me understand the Single Strike vs Rapid Strike mechanics a bit better than before. I sort my cards by type. When it comes to Pokemon, Fire, Water, Grass etc... then with Trainer cards its all Supporters together and then everything else. Energy all in a massive box together by themselves as well.

I got both of those etb's and the best pulls I got were rapid strike urshifu vmax and tyranitar v full art in the red one and mimikyu v in the blue one. I also pulled another mimikyu and a krickitune v at the build and battle tournament yesterday at my locals.

I have all of my gear listed in my Amazon link in the description box, I also get a kickback if you get anything through there. I use Katana sleeves or ultra pro but the Ultra pro are sometimes a pain to buy because they only come in packs of 50 and a card deck is 60 so it makes you buy two. 🙄 I would say buy online or a local card shop! (:
